Since 2023, we have completed more than 480 product renovations, reflecting our ongoing commitment to improving the nutritional profile of our portfolio — over 165 of them in 2025 alone, reducing salt and saturated fats while increasing vegetables, proteins and fibres.
Today, 63% of our portfolio is nutritionally balanced, up from 61.5% in 2023, on our way to 70% by 2030 and a fully healthy portfolio by 2035.
In 2025 we launched major innovations to build a naturally healthy portfolio: Liebig’s “Soup in a Bowl” in France, rich in vegetables and a source of fibre, topped with crunchy multigrain seed croutons; D&L’s vegan mayonnaise in Belgium, the same iconic taste with no egg; Touch of Taste ready-to-heat sauces in Finland and Sweden; and Erasco premium soups in glass jars in Germany, made with 100% natural ingredients.
We also renovated Erasco recipes with 8% less saturated fats, and Blå Band is now palm oil free.
Earlier renovations continue to deliver: 57% less saturated fats in Low-Fat D&L Mayonnaise (Belgium), 11% less salt in Liebig soups (France and Belgium), 3% less salt in Tigullio pesto (Italy), and 10% less sugar in Grand’Italia Bolognese sauce (the Netherlands).
All developed in line with our internal nutrient profiling approach based on World Health Organization (WHO) nutritional guidelines.
